We are excited for Vacation Bible School, which will be held this year from June 11 - June 15th (this is the first week after public schools are out for the summer.) Vacation Bible School is open to pre-K and elementary school age kids, and their parent and teen volunteers. Our Co-Directors this year are Addy Willette and Ann Matteson. We welcome volunteers! Please call the church office at 676-8578 if you can help our kids discover God's lifesaving love!

Sara Norton, daughter of Sandy and Lynda Norton, is currently on a "World Race" along with a group of young adults who are spending 11 months in 11 countries as part of the Adventures in Missions program. Sara's enthusiasm and commitment to Christ's calling are sure to gladden your heart!

This beautiful video was created by our friend and former organist, Lee Cobb. The music is Lee's setting of Hyfrydol for flute and strings.

The title of this article sounds like a riddle or a joke, but it’s no laughing matter that without many non-Episcopal “Friends,” Good Shepherd Thrift Shop wouldn’t be open for business five days a week because of a lack of volunteers. In its early history, only members of Church of the Good Shepherd worked in the store. But now this enterprise would really be history if it weren’t for the help of our non-Episcopal friends. Here’s a heartfelt salute to those Friends of Good Shepherd who make a weekly commitment to help our outreach mission in the community and in Santa Maria, Honduras.

To Our Graduates

Posted May 20th, 2012

By Fr. Tom Seitz

Today, as we remember the graduation of Matthias from the ranks of the disciples to the ranks of the apostles, we also celebrate the graduation of Cassi and Mary Claire from the ranks of high school to the ranks of higher education, as well as the graduation of Greg from the ranks of college to the ranks of employed, productive, tax-paying citizens. We also give thanks today for those who have been faithful in honoring God’s call on their life by taking their place and contributing so much to the life of our parish in the past year.

The addition of Matthias to the ranks of the apostles has much to teach us about graduations and the honoring of our vocations.
